The Ottó team is currently gearing up for our official launch! Soon we will have our official website ready for the community. This will contain a lot of the information that you have been asking us for.
Our next step is to work through a beta-test of the Ottó onboarding process. We need the community’s help for this and we will be rewarding each community member that signs up for an Ottó account and completes the onboarding process.
By signing up for an Ottó account and completing the onboarding process you will be one step closer to participating in the Ottó ecosystem. The account you create will be used in the future to claim your Ottó NFT and also interact with custodians to deposit your digital assets.

How can I join the beta-testing?
On the day of the beta-testing sign up, we will post a link on our social channels to the Ottó account website.
How long does the beta test last ?
The beta test will last till the 20th of June 2022, anyone who creates an account and completed the onboarding process before this date will be eligible for their OTTO reward airdrop.
What do I need to do during the beta test ?
You will need to access the Ottó onboarding website, proceed through the account creation process, this will involve setting up two-factor authentication. Once your account is set up, you will proceed through our state of the art KYC/AML(know your customer/anti-money laundering)verification process. Once your account is verified and you have bound an Ottó wallet and MetaMask wallet, the initial sign up process will be completed.
Which KYC provider has Ottó partnered with?
Ottó has partnered with Jumio for the KYC/AML process. Jumio is recognized as one of the world leading KYC providers. Jumio has verified more than 300 million identities issued by over 200 countries and territories from real-time web and mobile transactions.
How will my KYC data be stored and accessed?
Ottó user KYC data will be stored securely. Ottó is unable to present this data on behalf of users to ensure the security and privacy of Ottó account holders. The data is stored so that your private information is not held as part of your Otto account, and can not be leaked to anyone.
How do I claim my beta test reward tokens ?
Setting up your Ottó account is permanent and will be used for your future interactions with Ottó. At the end of the signup process you will bind your Ottó wallet(created via the polkadot extension) and a MetaMask wallet. The Ottó wallet will be where your OTTO rewards are received. These will be airdropped to you on the 20th of June 2022.
What happens next ?
This is one of our beta-tests to initiate the launch of Ottó blockchain. At a later date we will launch the process to claim your Ottó NFT and also deposit assets with a custodian. All these functions will play an important part in onboarding the Ottó community.
