Ottó Pre-mining complete
The Journey for PL^G has been a long and challenging one beginning in 2017.
We have since that time contributed to the core code for substrate, developed a number of unique and innovative modules and 1st of its kind technology.
The original vision of PL^G was to create an opensource blockchain protocol and modules which can be deployed by any project looking for permissioned, public or private chains that work hard to deliver applications to the users.
The success of this development has lead to multiple Web3 and blockchain start-ups and innovative protocols being released, with many more to come in the future. Today with the completion of the Pre-mining of Ottó we are very excited to have created a group of supporters who strongly believe in the future of DeFi in a responsible way.
These people have used PL^G token to generate the seed assets of a fully decentralized Ottó Blockchain.
This is important because Ottó stands at a precipice of financial change.
For Web3 to remain open we need a decentralized financial system within it that protects investors from counter-party risks like terrorists or crime, and ensures that professional criteria and independent technical audits take place for any organization publishing financial services applications.
The blockchain is a transparent ledger where anyone can verify every balance and transaction. In a public environment like this individual privacy is not only desired but often times extremely important for personal safety and non-discriminatory reasons.
